Originally from China Springs, TX, Dr. Pass attended the University of Houston for both undergraduate studies and optometry school.
In 1982, Dr. Pass accepted his first position as an optometrist and moved to Fort Stockton, TX to join Dr. Price in his private family practice. Raised in Fort Stockton, Dr. Josh graduated from Fort Stockton High School in 2000.

Shortly after joining the practice, Dr. Pass opened a small clinic in McCamey, TX and invested in a full-service optical lab.
Dr. Price retired in the early 1990s and Dr. Pass continued serving the community Fort Stockton until his son Joshua Pass joined the practice in 2010.
